Job Description

Our client, a leading company in the delivery sector seeks to engage an Sales Manager to develop and manage sales operations.

Responsibilities

Your duties and responsibilities will include,

  • Executing strategies and performance to generate revenue and achieve/exceed individual and team revenue goals
  • Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives
  • Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns
  • Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally and regionally
  • Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures
  • Establishing high client retention and satisfaction, and cultivating long-term connections with clients
  • Managing commercial account records and billing; processes refunds and reconciling accounts
  • Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
  • Setting discount rates and determining price schedules
  • Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external partners
  • Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
  • Setting sales quotas and goals
  • Overseeing and directing performance of the sales team
  • Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities
  • Defining and executing territory sales plans
  • Planning delivery routes and managing personnel to ensure that products are delivered efficiently
  • Ensuring that the correct delivery paperwork is generated for each delivery.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s / Masters Degree in Sales Management, Marketing, Administration or related field
Professional Experience
  • Minimim of five (5) years of experience in a similar position

Skills & Aptitude
  • Proven sales experience and knowledge, including familiarity with current trends in delivery services
  • Experience with customer relationship software and services
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate across different levels of an organization
  • Notable interpersonal skills with a positive demeanor and ability to provide both positive and negative feedback effectively
  • Willingness to travel regularly to attend and host meetings and assist with general management duties
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Possess excellent problem-solving and time management skills
  • Good mastery of Ms Office
  • Have good proficiency in English and French
