The Company Our client is a reputable High-Tech Warehousing company seeking to hire a dynamic Chief Information Security Officer to oversee the information security systems of its network of warehouses.
Responsibilities- Manage internal and external security and risk assessments
- Plan, design and implement an IT and network strategy
- Drive and deliver change to the various warehouses information and security systems, processes and procedures by continuously analysing and reviewing new security technologies and practices as informed by industry best practice
- Analyze IT security threats in real-time and mitigate these threats
- Define, develop and maintain a business-aligned Information and security strategy and operating model
- Ensure that newly-acquired technology complies with the IT security regulations
- Ensure Information Security is managed effectively throughout the IT service delivery lifecycle (incl. Security Operations, Security Architecture and Security Assurance)
- Manage the continuous maintenance of the IT network to ensure optimum security levels are maintained
- Source the necessary hardware and software to implement the IT strategy
- Build and inspire a highly skilled and diverse Security team. Foster a culture of trusted cross functional partnership, service, and continuous improvement
- Create quarterly, annual and long-term cyber security and cyber risk management goals, articulate strategies, define metrics, and provide necessary updates to executive leadership and the Board of Directors
- Direct, and assist as necessary, investigations into information security breaches and pursue associated disciplinary and legal matters, liaising with the Information Rights team on data
protection legislation ensuring root-causes of such breaches are understood and addressed
