The Company Our client is a global distribution company currenlty implanting one of its branches in Ivory Coast. We are therefore looking for a talented and experienced brand manager to develop and implement marketing activities that will increase brand value, awareness and market share.
ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will consist of,
- Managing the efficient and effective execution of new products and Marketing initiatives
- Establishing budgets, performance specifications and sales estimates
- Developing and implementing strategies that resonate with the target market
- Planning and executing marketing initiatives including campaigns, events, sponsorships and corporate social responsibility programs
- Developing and executing new launch timelines to support the marketing calendar ensuring consensus of milestone dates from respective business units including Marketing, Packaging, R&D, Product Development, New Product Purchasing and Manufacturing
- Ensuring all milestones meet their due dates in order to achieve the target ship date by driving the process end to end
- Shaping and communicating our vision and mission
- Translating brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
- Managing a team of marketing people working on brand initiatives
- Leading creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”
- Establishing performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
- Measuring and reporting performance of all marketing campaigns, and assessing ROI and KPIs
- Analysing the success of marketing campaigns and creating reports
- Supervising advertising, product design and other forms of marketing to maintain consistency in branding
- Meeting with clients and working with colleagues across multiple departments (such as marketing assistants, marketing managers and chief marketing officers)
- Resolving all timeline issues and negotiate with appropriate department and develop tactical plans when missed due dates occur to bring project back on track.
- Escalation of critical issues and risk to management
- Coordinating with Regulatory on all issues regarding product registration and alert markets of all Reformulations, Repackaging, and Production Transfers, Discontinued Products
- Leading special projects as needed and as defined by leadership.
