The Company
A delivery service management firm is looking for an Administration and Finance Manager who will ensure the smooth running of the administrative department, execute administrative and regulatory obligations, supervise accounting and finance, and personnel administration.

Responsibilities:

You will be in charge of,

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve operations and functions of the administrative department.
  • Updating financial, procurement and administrative policies and procedures
  • Ensuring that the finance and administration unit complies with laid down policies, procedures and regulations
  • Organizing the preparation, approval, and execution of budget and ensure adequate budget control practices
  • Developing and maintaining sound reporting systems to facilitate effective financial management and strong internal control mechanisms
  • Ensuring an effective internal control system is maintained and adheres to statutory and fiscal requirements
  • Analyzing financial and operating data and preparing management reports, periodic and annual financial statements of project accounts
  • Ensuring that project operations are carried out in accordance with sound financial management and procurement practices
  • Overseeing the recruitment of staff
  • Managing personnel, formalization of objectives, performance evaluation, initiatives and motivations, training plan in collaboration with the various operational managers
  • Ensuring that there is adequate and conducive office environment for all staff
  • Implementing with management, department managers and in conjunction with the central human resources department, a forecast HRM based on the management project and the guidelines of the establishment contract
  • Supervising administrative and financial staff: set objectives, evaluate their degree of achievement, guide, support, coordinate and control the action of staff
  • Ensuring, in conjunction with the central human resources department, the management and monitoring of acts linked to the career of workers (recruitment, promotion files, training advice, professional interviews)
  • Coordinating general planning, schedules and staff leave
  • Participating in the implementation of quality approach (participation in the construction of the internal control framework)
  • Participating in the monitoring of internal contracts between management and partners
  • Participating in the definition of management control monitoring tools

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
Professional Experience
  • Five (5) years or more working experience in a similar role

Skills & Aptitude
  • Rigorous with a strong ability to work under tight deadlines and on multiple tasks
  • Good managerial skills
  • Ability to break down general objectives into operational objectives
  • Ability to implement actions within set deadlines
  • Good knowledge of the regulations and procedures relating to HRM, labor law, finance, accounting, management control rules
  • Good capacity to manage conflict situations and make arbitrations,
  • Master project management methods
  • Anaytical and synthetical mind ; use of IT tools (document automation)
  • Ability to negotiate and problem solve; prospective vision and capacity for anticipation
  • Mastery of the Office Pack with the ability to synthesize and prepare reports and presentations
  • Proficiency in French is an added advantage (written and spoken)
